IMAGIO

Imagio is not your typical agency.

We are a multi-disciplined think tank of marketing and creative specialists, brought together to assist companies in succeeding in the technology marketplace. Unlike most traditional agencies, Imagio moves efficiently and knowledgeably within the fast paced high-tech world, utilizing a company's marketing arsenal to give it the best shot at winning. Imagio has helped both emerging start-ups and established industry leaders build strong strategic foundations from which to launch their products. Intelligent marketing is still a rarity in the technology marketplace. The truth is, the vast majority of marketing dollars is wasted due to poor positioning, inconsistent messaging and creative that's executed without a strategy.

And too many companies overspend on advertising to compensate for an agency's generally lack of strategic expertise. Imagio is here to help you outsmart your competition, not outspend them. Over the last decade, we've perfected what other agencies are now trying to invent: an integrated, synergistic approach to creating your brand - online, offline and in the press. In the process, we've brought together a diverse combination of strategic marketers and passionate creatives. Outside-the-box publicists and edgy web experts. Big company expertise and small company energy. Blended together, we become far more than your agency; we become your full-service marketing partner. We define our success by your success. And if you're competing in the high-technology marketplace, we're your best shot at winning.

HANNA & ASSOCIATES

Hanna Makes Waves in Coeur d’Alene, Spokane

Coeur d’Alene, Idaho—A melancholy steer sings Since I Don’t Have You in a spot for rocky mountain oysters. The Pillsbury Doughboy is squashed flat as a dumpling by a 10 lb. bag of Gold Medal Flour. A power company spokesman mocks the sun, itself, for the low-tech manner in which it delivers energy.

“Political correctness has never been our strong suit,” said Dayne Hanna, president of Hanna & Associates, a Coeur d’Alene agency that recently opened its second office in Spokane. “In fact, it’s gotten to the point where the only time I get nervous is when an ad doesn’t make me squirm a little.”
In the past, the agency’s detractors have included the Republican National Committee, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, a local teacher’s union, and not long ago, a group of environmentalists.

“All we were trying to say was that by eating the salmon you could save it an unnecessary trip upstream,” explained creative director, John Baechler.
He went on to say that despite the fact that complaints happen, surprisingly few of them ever come from the agency’s clients. “They understand that it’s our job to get them noticed. And if that means killing the doughboy or doing anti-hate ads with the N-word in them, then so be it.”

Hanna, who was recently named Spokane’s “Advertising Professional of the Year,” credits his agency’s unpretentious style to an extremely loose management philosophy. “Most of our energy goes into finding people who thrive on a lack of structure,” he said. None of the Hanna’s thirty employees has ever been presented with a dress code or even an employee manual. Brainstorm sessions often include anywhere from one to three labrador retrievers. The vacation policy is anyone’s guess.

But Hanna is quick to point out that a lack of rules does not necessarily mean a lack of discipline. “We are extremely passionate about what we do. But we don’t do anything without developing a bulletproof strategy first,” he said, “A good solid strategy does not tie our creative people down, it gives them the weapons to attack the problem with full force.”

According to Baechler, the stylish new branch office in Spokane’s Steam Plant Square has given the agency a much more cosmopolitan feel. “The other day, one of our art directors had a Zima,” he said.
